Around 1972, the rich director of a french printing company let built a cutting edge design manor on a cliff. This innovative construction by an architect called Barbera had irrigated gardens and intriguing granit sculptures, elevators and marble floor. With its aspect of a James Bond villa, mix of bunker & church, it has been vacant for the last 30 years and become a fascinating ruin enveloped in mysteries. After the owner's death in 1978 came the succession's problems which are still unsolved today. In the meanwhile, the house has been entirely looted and vandalized, there's nothing left inside. Many stories circulate about it: was it built on a bunker with an underground tunnel leading to the sea? What was the purpose of the sculptures and symbols (celtics and christians)? Why is the area under ground bigger than the surface above the ground, and the windows so small? It seems that everyone in the area has a different story to tell about the place: sect, mafia, atomic shelter, you name it!
